This was quite obviously inspired by the bedazzled back brace from The House Bunny.  You get all the function of a back brace while looking like the trim section from Michael’s exploded on you.

There is a very blurry line between taking your inspiration from another culture and complete, offensive appropriation.  Everyone defines it differently, but these brands, both European, seem to be playing fast and loose.  Whether or not you find them offensive, they are both ugly, and turn culture into costume.

Naked under leather… What does that even mean?  You wear leather clothes without anything underneath?  I hope that doesn’t chafe you.  It seems like they just picked the most provocative and buzz-y fashion words for right now, haphazardly formed them into a sentence, and put them on a shirt hoping people would bite.  Then they tore it up, because that is also cool.
